Exploring Complex Cases for the Advancement of the Medical Profession PAIN CSI is an acronym representing “Problems, Analysis, and Investigation in Complex Pain Cases.” It is an innovative space for collaboration and discussion created by the Latin American Pain Society (LAPS) with the aim of fostering the exchange of knowledge and experiences among colleagues in the region. We introduce you to PAIN CSI (Problems, Analysis, and Investigation in Complex Pain Cases), a unique space designed to foster collaboration and mutual learning in our community.
How to participate?
Select Your Case
Identify a clinical case that is exceptionally complex or challenging. It could involve an uncommon diagnosis, an unusual medical condition, or an unconventional therapeutic approach. Make sure to have complete and relevant clinical details about the case.
Present Your Case
Prepare an approx. 200-word summary of your case. Explore all aspects of the case, including the clinical history, examination findings, treatment decisions, and any specific challenges you’ve faced. Provide enough information for comprehensive understanding.
Submission of Your Case Study
Send the summary to the following email address: [email protected]. Ensure you attach all relevant information and pictures and provide your contact details for seamless communication.
Confirmation of Selected Case
Two weeks before the deadline, participants whose cases have been selected for presentation in the PAIN CSI session will be notified. If your case is chosen, additional details about the session and logistics will be provided.
