We are thrilled to announce that the Latin American Pain Society and the World Institute of Pain, are organizing the FIPP and CIPS exam with a preparatory course in Latin American soil, for the first time in history this year.
We are pleased to invite you to attend our 1st LAPS Symposium and Workshop & FIPP and CIPS Exam, which will be held from June 20 to 22, 2025 in Campinas, Brazil.

The World Institute of Pain courses were established in 1995 with the primary objectives of educating physicians to promote the development of safe, high-quality practice of interventional pain management techniques for the diagnosis and treatment of pain and related disorders and to promote patients’ accessing pain management from all corners of the world, this time in Latin America.
Program Highlights:
– Review Course with hands-on cadaver workshops for those preparing for the FIPP (Fellowship in Interventional Pain Practice) and CIPS (Certified Interventional Pain Sonologist) exams.
– Mock Exam Station to help candidates better prepare for the CIPS exam.
– Examinations: The FIPP and CIPS exams will be offered on Sunday, June 22, 2025.
