The Latin American Pain Society (LAPS) was established in 2022 to promote pain medicine education, encourage high-quality scientific research and publication, and provide highly skilled ultrasound and fluoroscopy-guided hands-on training courses to advance the evidence-based clinical practice of interventional pain throughout Latin America.
In addition, LAPS is committed to putting all resources to bring brilliant minds and academic leaders together on a common platform and unitedly works to raise the bar to offer the best pain care to our cancer and non-cancer patients.
Our educational events offer a comprehensive scientific program to provide cutting-edge information on advanced interventional techniques, advanced regenerative medicine, spinal and peripheral neuromodulation therapies, and minimally invasive spinal procedures, including intradiscal procedure, radiofrequency ablation, intrathecal drug therapies, emerging novel interventional techniques, disease-modifying therapies, abstract presentations, and a Resident/Fellow section. We are keen to invite outstanding, nationally and internationally renowned experts in pain management to share their knowledge and present the opportunity to interact with peers.
We welcome our industry and pharmaceutical partners to showcase cutting-edge advances and state-of-the-art technologies to present the latest research and implications for better patient care at our events.
LAPS invites you all to join as members to accomplish the common mission of
“Education Beyond the Borders” in Latin America.
